No – the CLEW Freedom 1.0 and CLEW Independence are completely different models and not compatible with each other.
That means:
- The Freedom baseplate does not work with the Independence binding system.
- The Independence binding cannot be used on a Freedom 2nd Board Base – and vice versa.
- All spare parts, discs, and accessories are model-specific.
Each system is built with unique mounting and step-in technologies to deliver the best performance for different rider needs.
To ensure the best fit, safety, and riding experience, we recommend using only matching components for each model.
