Yes – we’re proud to be the only snowboard binding brand that produces entirely in Germany.
In a time when global manufacturing often prioritizes cost over quality, we chose a different path. From the very beginning, our goal was clear: Every CLEW binding should be made in Germany, under our full control and with full responsibility – for the product, the people behind it, and the planet.
CLEW bindings are:
- Engineered, tested, and manufactured locally
- Produced with short supply chains and trusted European partners
- Built to last for many seasons, not just one
We proudly partner with the Oberland Werkstätten – a social workshop for people with disabilities in Miesbach (Bavaria). There, smaller sub-assemblies are crafted and hand-assembled with great care and attention to detail. For more than 45 years, this institution has provided tailored employment, training, and educational support.
Because our production site is just 30 km from our Munich HQ, one of our founders is on-site almost daily – ensuring quality and constantly improving our processes.
